Walmart (WMT) wird am Dienstag 18.05. vor Markteröffnung seine Ergebnisse veröffentlichten.
Wie bei vielen anderen Einzelhändlern wird die Wiedereröffnung der US-Wirtschaft voraussichtlich erhebliche Auswirkungen auf Walmart Inc. haben. Walmart, eine Dow 30-Komponente, verzeichnete im letzten Quartal einen boomenden Umsatz in vergleichbar allen Filialen (fast +9%). Es stellt sich die Frage, dass sich dies wiederholen wird. Analysten und Investoren warten gespannt, ob das Geschäft jetzt vergleichbare Umsätze erzielt hat.
Die Analysten sind ziemlich gleichmäßig verteilt, wobei 15 von 32 die Aktie mit “Kaufen” oder “Starker Kauf” bewerten und 15 die Aktie mit “Halten” bewerten. Bei einem Preis um 139,50 USD liegt das Aufwärtspotenzial beim Konsenspreisziel von 159,41 USD bei mehr als 14%. Bei dem hohen Ziel von 180 USD liegt der implizite Aufwärtstrend bei 29%.
Für das erste Geschäftsquartal, das im April endete, wird Walmart voraussichtlich einen Gewinn je Aktie von 1,21 USD ausweisen, drei Cent mehr als vor einem Jahr, bei einem Umsatz von 132,21 Mrd. USD (weniger als 1%). Für das gesamte Geschäftsjahr 2022, das im nächsten Januar endet, prognostizieren Analysten einen Gewinn je Aktie von 5,41 USD nach 5,48 USD im Vorjahr bei einem Umsatz von 547,96 Mrd. USD, was einem Rückgang von rund – 2% entspricht.
Die Walmart-Aktie wird mit einem Vielfachen des 25,6-fachen bis zum erwarteten Gewinn je Aktie von 2021, dem 26,1-fachen des geschätzten Gewinns von 2022 und dem 23,7-fachen des geschätzten Gewinns von 2023 gehandelt. Die 52-Wochen-Spanne der Aktie liegt zwischen 117,01 USD und 153,66 USD und das durchschnittliche tägliche Handelsvolumen bei 9,5 Millionen Aktien. Walmart zahlt eine jährliche Dividende von 2,20 USD (Rendite von 1,59%).
Eine Aktienkursschätzung fällt geringfügig höher als der aktuelle Marktpreis aus.
Nach der Bewertung von Walmart mit einer EPS-Schätzung von rund 5,39 USD und einem KGV-Vielfachen von 26,1x im Geschäftsjahr 2022 entspricht dies einem Preis von 141 USD, der geringfügig über dem aktuellen Marktpreis liegt.
